Ohio’s largest statewide technology event—the 4th Annual Ohio Tech Summit—returned to Columbus last week with record-breaking attendance and incredible passion for the Buckeye State’s innovation opportunity. Over 770 tech leaders, founders, and innovators from more than 120 cities, 14 states, and 4 countries gathered under one sold out in Columbus roof to explore this year’s theme: “Building Ohio’s Tech Hub.”

Why it matters
As momentum builds around Ohio’s emergence as a national tech player, the Summit served as a dynamic convergence point—connecting startups, Fortune 500s, venture investors, and tech professionals from a diverse set of industries and sectors around shared challenges and opportunities. With topics and sessions spanning AI, data centers, cyber, talent and workforce, DeepTech, and more, the Summit spotlighted the full spectrum of Ohio’s tech strengths.
Between the lines
The Summit wasn’t just about policy or products—it was about people. Whether you were a first-time entrepreneur from Dayton or a CTO at a Cleveland-based tech company, the Summit created a forum to connect across sectors and geographies to build something bigger than any one organization.
What’s next
Planning is already underway for the 5th Annual Ohio Tech Summit, which will return on Thursday, May 13, 2026 in Columbus. If 2025 was any indication, Ohio’s tech momentum isn’t slowing down—it’s only getting stronger.
