TeamCentral lands $3.8 million Seed Round to power enterprise AI & automation

TeamCentral, a Cincinnati-based enterprise automation startup, has successfully closed a $3.875 million seed funding round. The capital injection will accelerate the expansion of its AI-driven integration platform.

Founded in 2022 as a spinout from Dayton-HQ’d Centric Consulting, TeamCentral serves diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, foodservice, and logistics, aiming to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security for improved operational efficiency and business outcomes.

The big deal

As businesses grapple with increasingly complex digital landscapes and "data chaos" from isolated systems, TeamCentral offers a streamlined, no-code solution. Their platform connects cloud and on-premise systems, positioning companies to embrace AI more effectively and automate critical workflows.

Breaking down the investment

  • Funding Details: The round was backed by CincyTech and regional investors. This investment not only fuels TeamCentral's growth but also underscores the burgeoning potential of the Midwest as a tech innovation hub, attracting capital even in a challenging investment climate, thanks to the region's cost efficiency and talent pool.

  • The Technology: TeamCentral's core offering is Central iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service). This no-code platform empowers enterprises to design, deploy, and manage sophisticated integrations and automation workflows without extensive coding.

  • Introducing Corbi: A major focus of the new funding is the launch of Corbi, TeamCentral's new AI Agent. Corbi is designed to integrate with over 60 popular ERP, CRM, HRIS, and eCommerce platforms. It will leverage a new semantic AI layer to enhance structured enterprise data modeling, enabling businesses to interact naturally with their data, automate complex tasks, and gain proactive insights directly within their operational systems.

  • Platform Strengths: The Central platform is SOC 2 certified, ensuring robust data security. It's also being enhanced with pre-configured, templatized integrations to significantly streamline deployment and accelerate operational value for customers.

What they’re saying

"With this new funding, we're expanding our presence in enterprise automation and laying a robust foundation for organizations to become truly AI-ready," said Marc Johnson, Founder and CEO of TeamCentral. "Our goal is not just to simplify integration but to transform data into actionable intelligence, helping businesses optimize efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and scale sustainably."

What’s next

With this investment, TeamCentral plans to grow its team, expand its partner ecosystem, and deepen its presence in key verticals. The company aims to become a foundational layer for enterprise AI readiness and automation across the Midwest and beyond.
